Our audience-locals and visitors-often "come-as-you-are" after clam tides or enjoying local fresh seafood at the many quality restaurants in Long Beach or Astoria. After viewing even one production, many tourists have included PAPAs summer musical in their yearly vacation schedules at the beach. Get your expectations up!
Overlooking the mouth of the mighty Columbia River, our theater is a historic ordnance building located in Fort Columbia State Park in Chinook, Washington. Built in 1896, Fort Columbia is one of the few intact historic coastal defense sites. Many of the quarters have been preserved, and battlements & bunkers remain. The Park also offers sweeping, majestic views of the Columbia River, & includes a secluded small cove and beach."
